Social Skills Groups
Social Skills Groups
Each social skills group is unique to the needs of the individuals. The main goal is to encourage positive social interactions amongst peers, boost confidence, and provide children with the skills to thrive in the community. We will select a specific, small group of children based on the assessment of strengths, areas of improvement and unique needs. Skills typically targeted in a session include play skills, turn taking, friendship building, conversational speech, staying on topic, initiating & responding, understanding empathy, flexibility, expressing emotions and self-regulation.

Our founder's, Siena, passion for social skills groups started during her masters practicum. Siena led a social skills group with five individuals on the Autism Spectrum. Siena knew there was something special and motivating when individual's came together to progress as a community.
